Everything we do in Ankh Academy is guided by and directed towards 3 Core Principles:<\/p>

    Love is seen as a Force of warmth which liberates our hearts to experience Oneness with the Universe<\/em>.<\/p>

    We seek to embody Love through a relational ethic<\/strong>; namely, The Attitude of Mirroring<\/em>, or the intent to focus on the qualities that we appreciate about others. By growing our gratitude for all the gifts we receive from each other and the Universe, we learn to improve our ability to give our gifts to others and move away from suffering states.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Wisdom is seen as a Force that enlightens our intellects and brings us from confusion to Understanding<\/em>.<\/p>

    We seek to embody Wisdom through knowledge of Self<\/strong>\u2014growing our awareness of our unique structure, capabilities and tendencies, and our needs and limits.     Truth is seen as a Force which harmonizes many perspectives; the unity of Love and Wisdom. <\/em><\/p>

    We seek to embody Truth by discovering our personal practices<\/strong>; exercises for our mind, body, and Spirit which are attuned to our unique needs and optimize our spiritual connection.     As students of Life, we recognize that we stand upon the shoulders of giants and seek to honor all those that came before us. In the spirit of humility and gratitude, The Academy embraces an attitude of respect and curiosity towards all the cultures and traditions of the world. That said, we do not pretend to be equally influenced by all traditions and recognize that we are living representatives of specific lineages and influenced heavily by specific figures.\u00a0<\/p>

    In being fully transparent about our philosophical and psychological foundations, we share with you our core influences<\/strong>. The choice of these three individuals as our core influences is based partly on our criteria to assess Mastery in spiritual and psychological domains, and partly a mysterious personal affinity the founder and members of the Academy feel towards their Teachings.<\/p>

    Note, however, that recognizing these individuals as our core influences does not mean that we are unreceptive and unwilling to learn from other spiritual, psychological, and living teachers. It simply means that they embody The Academy’s essential disposition and are unlikely to change over time unless new figures surpass the former according to our criteria and the shared sentiments of the founder and members of The Academy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Core Spiritual Influence: Omraam Mikha\u00ebl A\u00efvanhov<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Omraam Mikha\u00ebl A\u00efvanhov <\/strong>(1900-1986) was a Bulgarian philosopher, teacher, and spiritual Master who taught the ancient principles of Initiatic Science over 49 years of oral lectures.<\/p>

    At the age of 17, he became a disciple of Peter Deunov<\/em>, founder of a form of Esoteric Christianity known as the Universal White Brotherhood<\/em>, and was later chosen by Deunov to continue the Teachings in France.<\/p>

    His work is contained in 44 pocketbooks and 32 complete works based on his lectures and the essence of his Teachings can be summarized by the following quote:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Core Psychological Influence: Carl Gustav Jung<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Carl Gustav Jung<\/strong> (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychologist, clinician, and prolific author who founded the school of Analytic Psychology. An erudite scholar with exceptionally vast interests, Jung developed psychological concepts that established himself as one of the most influential psychologists of all time.<\/p>

    After being chosen as the heir to the psychoanalytic movement by Sigmund Freud<\/em>, Jung’s more symbolic approach to the psyche led to a falling out with his mentor and the development of his own movement. After an intense period of midlife isolation where he analyzed his own unconscious, he gave birth to the fundamental concepts which aim to scientifically map the human psyche and its inner-dynamics.<\/p>

    His work is compiled in his 20-volume Collected Works<\/em> and various posthumous publications, and the essence of his thought can be summarized by the following quote:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Core Living Influence: Cristallin Toullec<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Cristallin Toullec<\/strong> (1978-present) is a French-Canadian philosopher, osteopath, personal development coach and founder of the IRESOI Institute. He has pioneered revolutionary concepts in relational dynamics\u2014most notably Soul Mirroring<\/em> and The Unitary Sphere of Identity<\/em>\u2014and continues to teach and develop tools for group dynamic synergy for the emergence of collective consciousness.<\/p>

    His personal growth journey was guided by his mentor Natasha Kolesar\u2014<\/em>a Russian pedagogue, speaker, and poet\u2014who was a disciple of Omraam. After being engaged with her, he lived in her intentional community\u2014IDEAL Society\u2014for 10 years to experience the unique community lifestyle that she developed. Upon her passing and following personal revelations, Cristallin left IDEAL Society to create the IRESOI Institute and share personal development tools for a new paradigm of conscious relating.<\/p>

    His work is available through the courses taught at the IRESOI Institute, his primary text (Mirroring of the Soul: Keys to Collective Consciousness<\/em>), and his collection of short stories.
